Coutney - My First Shoot
Today you guys get a special treat. This is a VERY long story, but worth the read. You get to meet “my first”. You always remember the very first one… Courtney was MY ‘first’, in a way. That’s why there are astericks around her name on the index page. I’m NOT talking about the first girl I slept with… she was the first girl I photographed for money… my first paid photo assignment. In my opinion, this story is entertaining. It sounds a little crazy at times, but it’s all 100% true. Maybe it is only entertaining to ME. You could say that Courtney is the ‘one that started it all’. I knew there was money to be made photographing naked girls for the internet. I had always loved photos that I’d seen posted on Amateur Teen Kingdom’s website. I emailed the webmaster and asked him where he purchased his photos. He told me that he had several photographers that he worked with. I told him I was sure I could recruit models for him and asked him for his shoot requirements and pay rate. The next thing I did was to place a free classified ad on Yahoo. At that time, all ads on Yahoo were free. I was looking for models in the Northern California area. Courtney was the first to respond to the ad (via email)… but there was a catch: she was all the way in Florida - 3,000 miles away. I told her I was based in California. She emailed back and said she’d be willing to drive out because she’d always wanted to see California and had family in Oregon she would visit after our shoot was completed. I sent these off to Amateur Teen Kingdom. The webmaster replied that he couldn’t possibly approve her without seeing nude samples, so I emailed Courtney and asked her if she had any nudes, or knew anyone who could take some. She didn’t have any, and didn’t know anyone she’d trust to take nudes and keep it quiet. I told her that there was no way I could guarantee her any work without nude samples. Now, here comes the CRAZY part. I thought that would be the last time I heard from Courtney, but 3 days later she calls me and tells me she’s in town. She’d DRIVEN 3,000 MILES with absolutely NO guarantee of receiving a dime! I drove to the hotel where she was staying and took along my Kodak DC260, a very low-quality digital camera I had at the time. I took ALL the photos you see below with that camera, in Courtney’s hotel room, on that day. Every one of these photos. These are unretouched - exactly as they came out of that camera. The webmaster of Amateur Teen Kingdom was amused by the story, so he approved the shoot. That was my very first paid photo shoot. It took more than 7 hours. I completed the shoot on a point-and-shoot Olympus Stylus film camera, using only the on-camera flash for lighting. But to see those photos you’ll have to subscribe to Amateur Teen Kingdom… they purchased the full rights to all 10 sets. Allow me to present my VERY FIRST nude model (for money anyway), and my VERY FIRST “test shoot”…. Enjoy!
